Command on Demand, LLC was created in October 2005 as a veteran owned, sole proprietorship business in the State of South Carolina. It is our desire to offer to the wildland fire, incident management and emergency management community a reliable source for training, assistance and support at a competitive price.
As president of Command on Demand, LLC, I have over 30 years experience in wildfire management, both in suppression and prescribed fire. I have worked for both the DOI National Park Service and the USDA Forest Service. I am certified by the USDA Forest Service as an instructor in the incident management courses through the 500 level. I am also qualified as a Type 1 Operation Section Chief, Type 1 Safety Officer and a Type 2 Incident Commander. Also, I carry the qualifications of Type 1 Prescribed Fire Boss and Type 1 Prescribed Fire Ignition Boss. A more detailed resume is available on request. The company logo for Command on Demand, LLC is the Zuni Indian fetish, the Bear. The Bear fetish is one of the six guardian fetishes in the Zuni Indian belief. The bear fetish is a symbol that represents strength, good health and long life. The arrow represents the heart line or lifeline of the animal. The bear is also believed to be the protective animal of the west; with strength, introspection and the power of the soul.
